N. Korea needs to be put in its place.

North Korea has threatened to "wipe out" the US and its allies today.

A US Destroyer has been following the Kang Nam, a North Korean ship suspected of transporting illicit weapons to Burma, off China's coast, in accordance with U.N. sanctions passed to punish the nation for the nuclear test last month.

The UN sanction requires that ships suspected of carrying illicit cargo to allow inspection at sea. If they won't comply, they will be escorted to the nearest port for inspection.

North Korea has not taken kindly to the resolution and the US's involvement in its enforcement.

"If the U.S. imperialists start another war, the army and people of Korea will ... wipe out the aggressors on the globe once and for all," the official Korean Central News Agency said.

North Korea has banned ships from the waters off its east coast starting Thursday through July 10 for military exercises, Japan's Coast Guard said.

North Korea is expected to be testing short & medium range missiles during that time, including the one aimed at Hawaii.

I am tired of being threatened by this small country and its smaller man in charge. I'm sure our ally, South Korea, is tired of it as well. We need to do something about this. What exactly, I'm not sure. But something is better than nothing.

Any suggestions?

It certainly would have been helpful if Maddie Albright didn't give them access to nuclear material. Chances are that they wouldn't have gotten this far.

No kidding. We NEED to do something about this. Its getting out of hand, and becoming direct threats against the US and its citizens.

I'm just not sure what.

Its funny. You and I did not get along at all at first. And now you're one of my regulars. Hmm.

If that is an insinuation that I'm coming around to your way, pass the bong.

I don't always have to agree with someone to like them.

It wasn't. I just meant that after all the spewing hatred of those commenting at Pam's blog at one side or the other, you and I, often at odds idealogically, have learned to get along. I was pointing out that once we were at each other's online throats.

And now we aren't.

That's all.

Fair enough.

Lord have mercy! I will never expect Bluepitbull to be anything but hostile toward me, but I have to agree with his statement about Albright.

If he thinks wiping out the North Korean navy while it's in one place for war games I'd probably agree with that also. I don't know if that's feasable, but it's nice to think about. (Wiping out the NK navy that is)

Bluepitbull might not be so hostile to you if you would show some humility once in a while. Also, exactly how do you come to your conclusions? Magic 8 ball or Ouija board? Just kidding.

Perhaps if you didn't find it necessary to preempt anything about me with. "If pitbull wsan't so hostile to me..." Trust me, you've earned it. Good to see that we agree on some common sense things, though.

See how nice everyone is getting along...just don't go all Kumbaya on me.

Hey James, thanks for helping to keep the peace over at my place. You're a gem.

This NK thing is out of hand and scary, too. L'l Kim is getting a bit big for his britches. I'm thinking we need to teach him a lesson. So far we've allowed him to set off missles and now he's free to roam the high seas with illegal weapons like a pirate and we're not doing anything. It's long over due, especially after this latest threat. So, I'm for wiping him off the map.

I shall make an effort to be more humble as you advise Pitbull. Thank you for your assessment.
